I can’t tell if it looks like waves, mountains, or dragon scales, but seeing all that texture framed in the center of a perfectly clear sapphire tells a story like no other. The natural bumps and craters on raw Montana sapphires are so fascinating to me, and I’ve wanted to try capturing them like this for months now.
