Preview JUBILEE SINGERS, the story of the Fisk University singers who saved their school by sharing their history and music with the world. | American Experience | PBS

On February 11, The Fisk Jubilee Singers and The Erwins – both 2021 Grammy nominees for Best Roots Gospel Album – joined for an evening of music and friendship at Jubilee Hall on the historic Fisk University campus in Nashville. As they lifted their voices together on the Fisk Singers’ “Wade In The Water” under the direction of musical director Dr. Kwami, it was clear the groups had more in common than world-class talent.
