An off-duty New York City police officer shot and wounded a man during an attempted robbery inside Penn Station on Wednesday evening, police say. Two off-duty officers, who are in a relationship, had just left work and were heading home on the LIRR when the suspect tried to rob the male officer, according to police sources.
