Non-Newtonian fluids are substances that do not follow Newton’s law of viscosity. Unlike water or air, their resistance to flow changes depending on the force applied to them. In other words, they can behave like a liquid under some conditions and like a solid under others. One of the most popular examples is a mixture of cornstarch and water, often called "oobleck".
