This is what a plant actually looks like when it’s ready for a bigger pot. Roots circling the pot, almost no loose soil left, and the root ball holding its shape — that’s what “rootbound” really means. Seeing a root come out of the bottom isn’t enough. You’re looking for a full root mass. When you get to this stage, go up about 1–2 inches in pot size and loosen the roots slightly so they don’t keep circling. Save this so you know what to look for before you repot 🌿
