Bobby’s Polka: Here’s a little Johnny Pecon/ Lou Trebar tune on a 1935 Anton Mervar diatonic button accordion. After checking out the original recording, I didn’t play the last section that Pecon/ Trebar included. I also had a lesson with a student recently who reminded me that the first section of the song is a Matt Hoyer composition, “Vipavaska.” It’s always interesting how sections of songs are borrowed and rearranged.
