Oct 25, 2021 · Blue Origin and Sierra Space today announced plans for Orbital Reef, a commercially developed, owned, and operated space station to be built in low Earth orbit. The station will open the next chapter of human space exploration and development by facilitating the growth of a vibrant ecosystem and business model for the future.

Orbital Reef is a low Earth orbit (LEO) space station under development. It is designed by Blue Origin and Sierra Space for commercial space activities and space tourism uses. Blue Origin has referred to it as a "mixed-use business park". [1] The companies released preliminary concepts for the station on 25 October 2021.

The Orbital Reef station, led by principal partners Sierra Space Corporation and Blue Origin, will open the next chapter of human space exploration and development by facilitating the growth of a vibrant ecosystem and business model for the future.
