Detroit author Harriet Cammock watched “The Cosby Show” in her youth and describes Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s death as “like losing one of us.”

"The Cosby Show" aired a while ago, so it's understandable some of its older characters have since died. Sadly though, young cast members have also passed away.

Longtime actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner has died at the age of 54 according to multiple reports. Warner’s representatives have not confirmed a cause of death, but People reported Monday that Warner drowned while on vacation with his family in Costa Rica.
