TOWN OF BRULE — A 51-year-old Eau Claire woman was killed when the snowmobile she was driving struck a tree after failing to make a 90-degree turn along a trail in the Brule State Forest on Friday, Feb. 21. Excessive speed and alcohol appear to be primary factors in the crash, according to a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report.

A woman from Westfield died Saturday morning due to a snowmobile accident in Vermont. "This is particularly true if Russia assesses that the US cannot or will not support the European NATO countries in a war with Russia."
