A Virginia woman accused in the fatal hit-and-run that killed famous realtor Sara Burack in the Hamptons, gave a desperate excuse to the New York court on Saturday.

An assault-rifle bill was voted down as hundreds of students from Stoneman Douglas high school made their way to Tallahassee to demand gun law reform in Florida. ABC News' Arlette Saenz reports.
