Rich Hill has been a staple of Major League Baseball for more than 20 years, and the veteran pitcher isn’t hanging up his cleats just yet. Hill, 45, was called up to the Majors by the Royals on Tuesday to start against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.
Rich Hill made his Major League Baseball debut at Wrigley Field on Jun. 15, 2005, pitching a single inning for the hometown Chicago Cubs. More than 20 years later, Hill was back on the mound at Wrigley sporting a Kansas City Royals uniform.
Williams, one of the all-time great tennis players, participated in the DC Open for her first professional match in over a year, and the 45-year-old wasn't just there to play, she was there to compete. Williams defeated world No. 35 Peyton Stearns for her first win since August 2023.
