Here's a look at this week across Michigan. It will be totally wintry on temperatures. Only one region and one type of snow is expected this week.

Elsewhere in southern Michigan, a mix of snow and freezing drizzle could bring up to 2 inches of accumulation by 1 p.m. Saturday to Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch and Hillsdale counties. Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties could all get up to 4 inches by 7 p.m.

Winter storms will hit Michigan from Friday through Sunday with up to 14 inches in some areas. Here's how much snow is predicted near you.

In Royal Oak, the official snow total is 4.5 inches. Areas in southern zones, like Grosse Pointe Farms in Wayne County, was predicted to reach accumulations between 3 to 6 inches, and officially snow totaled 4 inches.

Even by February’s standards, it’s an exceptionally cold day in West Michigan. High winds and Arctic air are combining to create frigid "feels-like" temperatures. West-northwesterly winds are sustained at 15-25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 35 mph.

Our second round of snowfall arrives Sunday morning and will drop similar amounts to Saturday morning. Our chances of seeing at least 4 inches of snow for the weekend are quite high. Snow should start as that fluffy type of snow once again. Our odds of up to 8 inches of snow are highest for locations north of M-59, especially Interstate 69.
