CBS News has learned the Office of Personnel Management has given federal agencies until Tuesday night to issue layoffs in the Trump administration's effort to downsize. CBS News correspondent Natalie Brand asked voters how they feel about the widespread cuts across the federal government.

A mid-level probationary worker with the U.S. Department of Agriculture read the letter in disbelief. It was from the USDA's human resources department explaining he no longer had a job. The letter said the decision had been made "based on your performance." But it didn't make sense to him.
