It sounds kind of bizarre when you think about it. The Tigers (49-30) have only lost three consecutive games three times as we head toward the All-Star break. Even crazier? One of those streaks was the first series of the season when they faced the reigning champion Dodgers on the road. Better yet? They have yet to drop four in a row.

You don’t accept excuses, but facts are facts, as they say. And the fact is, this has been an arduous week for the Tigers.
