There are a bunch of different ways to illustrate how great of a season Auburn is having. No. 5 Tennessee defeated No. 6 Alabama 79-76 Saturday on a dramatic last-second 3-pointer by Jahmai Mashack at the buzzer. With 3.9 seconds remaining, the Volunteers in-bounded the ball to Mashack, who took a few dribbles and pulled up from just inside the half-court line to give UT its biggest win of the season.

It will be rare to find a program having a better day than the Auburn Tigers. The No. 1 Auburn Tigers took care of business inside Rupp Arena on Saturday by taking down No. 23 Kentucky, 94-78, to clinch a share of the SEC regular-season title,

Auburn still won the game by 16, and it was the backcourt that stepped up for the Tigers. Kelly, Chad Baker-Mazara and Tahaad Pettiford scored 44 of Auburn’s 49 points in the first half and the trio finished the game with a combined 73 points.

The No. 1 Auburn Tigers won the SEC regular-season title on Saturday, defeating No. 23 Kentucky 94-78. The Tigers entered the game not only looking to lock up the SEC crown, but also wanting to knock the Rupp Arena chip off its shoulder.
