New York braces for weekend snow and ice storm
Governor Hochul has directed state agencies to prepare for a significant winter storm expected to bring snow, ice, and gusty winds across New York this weekend.
Snowfall totals from around the New York City, Tri-State area
Central Park reported 3.1 inches of snow. Sandy Hook, Connecticut had the highest total with 6.1 inches. Long Island also reported some of the highest totals including 5.1 inches in Muttontown and 5 inches in Commack and Hauppauge.
