After a brief blackout window, ESPN and other channels have returned to YouTube TV. Here's how the dispute between Google and Disney unfolded.

In addition to bringing Disney networks like ABC, ESPN, and FX back to YouTube’s streaming TV service, the deal will also see ESPN make its new direct-to-consumer service available on YouTube TV at no additional price. YouTube will also be able to sell select Disney networks and the Disney+/Hulu bundle as part of different packages.

The agreement also includes access to ESPN's new direct-to-consumer service at no additional cost to YouTube TV subscribers, Disney said.

ESPN, ABC and other networks have returned to YouTube TV's streaming platform after a licensing dispute that affected millions of subscribers.

Disney in late October pulled ESPN, ABC and other programming from YouTube TV after the sides failed to reach a distribution deal. The new agreement is a "multi-year" deal, Disney said.

After two weeks, YouTube TV and Disney have reached an agreement to bring ESPN, ABC, and others back to the streaming platform.

YouTube TV's 10 million customers will regain access to ESPN, ABC and other Disney-owned channels after the two television titans agreed on a new distribution contract.
