More than £15,000 has been raised for the families of victims involved in a fatal bus crash in Somerset. A 10-year-old boy died and six children and three adults remain in hospital after the vehicle left the A396 at Cutcombe Hill near Minehead and slid down a 20ft slope on Thursday afternoon.

The town of Minehead is grieving the utter tragedy of a school outing that ended in the death of a little boy. It was confirmed yesterday that a ten-year-old had died in the bus crash on Thursday, July 17.

The crash left 21 people injured, including two children who were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. Avon and Somerset Police said on Thursday evening that a child had died following the crash.
