Officials say a Ukrainian drone has struck an industrial plant deep inside Russia, injuring several people and causing a fire.

A Ukrainian drone attack at an industrial plant in central Russia has killed three people and injured 35 others, a Russian regional governor has said.

Local residents counted at least 20 explosions in the sky over the city of Lipetsk, Russian Telegram channel Baza added. The channel Supernova+ noted that, according to eyewitnesses, the drones appeared to be flying toward the Lipetsk-2 airfield.
