COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Tre Holloman hadn’t even reached the “M” logo at midcourt when he jumped off one foot and let the ball fly. Somehow, it stayed on line before dropping through the hoop with a swish that reverberated across the Big Ten.

The eighth-ranked Spartans quiet a raucous College Park crowd with a halfcourt heave that finds nothing but net and delivers a 58-55 loss to the No. 16 Terps.

Tre Holloman made a buzzer-beater from beyond midcourt to give No. 8 Michigan State a 58-55 win over No. 16 Maryland in a sensational finish.

The buzzer beater came after Holloman had an abysmal turnover, allowing Maryland to tie the game, followed by a missed go-ahead shot just ten seconds prior. Following a Ja'Kobi Gillespie miss, Jaxon Kohler snagged the rebound and passed it to Holloman, the rest is history.
