House fire in Union Grove results in the death of businessman Jeffrey Paradise; ongoing investigation into the cause.

Jefferey Paradise, 38, of the Black River Falls area was identified as the solo victim at 801 11th Ave. in Union Grove. According to the Sherriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the house at approximately 8:18 p.m. Once the fire was extinguished, first responders discovered Paradise's body within the residence.
