BOISE, Idaho — One person died, and another was injured when a helicopter crashed onto the ice at Ririe Reservoir Thursday afternoon, approximately 25 miles east of Idaho Falls. Brown was from Alpine, Utah, and was the CEO of ATL Technology, which focuses on medical devices. Idaho officials said that Brown appeared to be the pilot at the time of the crash.

According the FAA, the deadly crash involved a Bell 505 helicopter and took place at the Ririe Reservoir in Rexburgh, northeast of Idaho Falls.
