California Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta outlined their lawsuit against Donald Trump and his order to federalize the National Guard, now in Los Angeles to respond to protests of the administration’s ICE raids.

Gavin Newsom is suing Donald Trump over the mobilization of the National Guard to quell immigration-related protests in Los Angeles.The complaint, filed Monday by California Attorney General Rob Bonta on behalf of the Governor against the President,

"Come and get me, tough guy. I don't give a damn," Newsom said after saying border czar Tom Homan had threatened to arrest him for speaking out on ICE raids.

California is challenging President Trump's decision to deploy federal troops to assist immigration agents in Los Angeles.
