A hazardous materials incident that had neighbors in Thousand Oaks sheltering in place for hours Wednesday night involved legal chemicals.

Three crooks boxed in a 70-year-old man driving down a Brooklyn street and bashed in the car’s passenger-side window before running off with $20,000 in a caught-on-camera heist, police said Friday.
