July 12 (Reuters) - The European Union said on Saturday it was ready to retaliate to defend its interests if the United States pressed ahead with imposing a 30% tariff on European goods from August 1.
Nicolae Ștefănuță, Vice President of the European Parliament and a representative from Romania, has voiced support for the Stop Killing Games (SKG) petition on Instagram, urging Europeans to sign the initiative.
The approval sets a deadline of 180 days to begin the rollout. This is to avoid bottlenecks that could compromise the system if all countries launched at once.
