After getting shut out last weekend, the Atlanta Falcons bounced back with a 34-27 win over the Washington Commanders to improve to 2-2 on the season. The Falcons offense showed up in a big way, led by second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr.'s career-high 313 passing yards.
The Falcons will host the Washington Commanders in Week 4. After a bye in Week 5, the team will return home to host the Buffalo Bills on "Monday Night Football" in Week 6. Needless to say, Atlanta's playoff chances will take a major hit if the team can't find a way to beat Washington on Sunday.
