Pacers wing Bennedict Mathurin has been suspended for one game for his altercation with an official in the Pacers' loss to Cleveland on Tuesday.

The NBA has suspended Indiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin for one game after he was ejected Tuesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Remarkably, Mathurin received three technical fouls in the same game against the Cavs.

This is only a one-game suspension, so Mathurin will be back on Saturday for the game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Pacers are going to need him for as many games as possible because of the scoring and rebounding he brings to the roster. So far this season, Mathurin is averaging 16.5 points, six points, and two assists per game.

Nembhard’s role is secure. Ben Sheppard has struggled to make an impact off the bench, and Bennedict Mathurin has spent most of his time playing small forward alongside Nembhard. Assists aren’t easy to find on the waiver wire, so those who need help in that category should target Nembhard.
