It was like a "Weekend Update" reunion when Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers crashed Jimmy Fallon's February 12 opening monologue on The Tonight Show. Like a late night Justice League, the comedy legends joined forces for a "good old-fashioned" Tonight Show Joke Off.

Ahead of this weekend's 50th anniversary "Saturday Night Live" special, Poehler and Fey stopped by "The Tonight Show" to reminisce with Fallon.

Live' veterans participated in a "Tonight Show Joke Off," a riff on SNL's "Weekend Update" segment during which they battled it out for the best punchlines.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Poehler joked that she was "like Tina's second wife," because her stint co-hosting SNL 's "Weekend Update" with Fey came after Fey hosted the segment with Fallon. Fallon also recalled the night he met Poehler, when he went to watch her do an improv set with Fey.

"I could have started crying because this is the pep talk that I’ve been dreaming of since I was a kid watching 'Meatballs.'"
