Despite winning four straight national titles and the SEC regular season, Oklahoma softball was given the No. 2 seed, behind Texas A&M. The Sooners will host Boston, Cal, and Omaha in the Norman Regional as they begin their postseason run.

The Sooners were seeded second behind Texas A&M even though Oklahoma won the SEC regular season title. For the second straight year, Oklahoma is headed to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 2-overall seed. Last year, the Sooners dropped the regular season series to Texas before avenging that loss to win the Big 12 Tournament.
