The Mines Spung Wildfire has prompted evacuations and road closures in Burlington County since Friday, with crews still battling hot spots throughout the forest.

Firefighters have contained 60% of a New Jersey wildfire that spread over 5,000 acres in the Wharton State Forest Saturday, June 14.

Fire engines, helicopters and ground crews were being used to try to contain the blaze, which has been dubbed the Mines Sprung Wildfire.
