The latest round of layoffs at Microsoft’s Xbox division are part of the company’s broader strategy of organisation-wide restructuring.

The recent massive layoffs weren't enough for Microsoft. The Redmond giant is expected to announce another large reduction in its Xbox division soon.

If the next round of layoff happens at Microsoft, then it will mark the fourth major round of layoffs in the Xbox unit since 2023.
