The Lakers, of course, have already lost all leverage here, since the entire NBA knows they have a glaring void at the center position. And since they don't have many great trade assets to begin with, potential trade partners will be out to take L.A. for everything it's worth.

Vincent hasn’t been a plus performer in Los Angeles. During the 2023 free agency period, signing the Santa Barbara product appeared to be a worthwhile move for the Lakers. Vincent poured in 12.7 points per game on 40.2% shooting from the field and 37.8% with the Heat in the playoffs during their 2022-23 run to the NBA finals.

There seems to be a bit of a groundswell of support among Los Angeles Lakers fans for a trade involving guard Austin Reaves. While he is an integral part of the team, he does have a couple of glaring deficiencies, and he could be its best asset on the open market as far as plugging the roles on its roster.
