LeBron James' contract with the Los Angeles Lakers runs through the end of the 2025-26 season. And while maybe in the past that would've been a worry, NBA insider Marc Stein reports that the Lakers aren't bothered by that. “The threat of him leaving Lakerland next summer is no threat at all now," writes Stein.

Though talks of LeBron James leaving the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason have seemingly cooled down, his future is still in question heading into the 2025-26 campaign.

The Dallas Mavericks have not tried to trade for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, according to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line.  LeBron will make $52.6 million next season.
