SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (AP) — The body of the last person missing from a boat that capsized on Lake Tahoe in California during a sudden and powerful weekend thunderstorm was found Monday, bringing the death toll to eight.
Update: The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office said the 8th fatality had been recovered from the late Monday afternoon.
Six people died and two remain missing after a recreational boat capsized during a sudden storm at Lake Tahoe, creating one of the area's worst tragedies.
