The company recently filed to trademark the ‘Mach 4’ name in the United States. Last year, Ford reportedly showed dealers a sketch of a possible four-door Mustang. The idea of an extended Mustang lineup isn’t exactly a groundbreaking concept.

If or when the Mach 4 actually arrives, not only will it be the first production sedan Mustang ever, but it will likely be the first sedan in the Ford’s U.S. lineup in years. Dearborn has not offered one of those in this country since the Fusion departed the scene in 2020.

Ford recently applied to trademark the Mach 4 name. This development suggests that the rumoured 4-door Mustang sedan may be in the works. The application was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark

Ford has announced a re-recall of previously repaired vehicles. The original repair did not adequately resolve the issue.
