Tordillos declares victory in San Jose special election

San Jose Planning Commissioner Anthony Tordillos has declared victory in the special election for the District 3 City Council seat. Tordillos made the announcement Thursday, after a Wednesday results update showed him maintaining a wide lead over Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley Executive Director Gabby Chavez-Lopez.

Tordillos' large lead grows in San Jose special election, latest update shows

The last update for Tuesday showed Anthony Tordillos had 4,449 votes, and Gabby Chavez-Lopez had 2,413 votes, according to the Registrar of Voters.
