A poll of seven exit polls has projected a decisive victory for the BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections, with the party expected to secure 42-49 seats. If these predictions hold true, it will mark the end of the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) dominance in Delhi after three consecutive election wins.

Incumbent Aam Aadmi Party on the back foot because of voter fatigue, but analysts predict a ‘much tougher fight’ between the parties.

Two exit polls released on Wednesday gave BJP an edge over AAP in the Delhi assembly polls, one of the four analysed here gave the incumbent a third consecutive decisive mandate and another gave BJP an even clearer win.
