The 1997 and 2012 drafts rival the 2025 rendition as the worst for Auburn in the past 30 years. In 1997, defensive end Mark Smith was the lone selection, going to the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round. In 2012, fourth-rounder Brandon Mosley was the only selection from Auburn.
