The investigation found that three brothers were staying together in the hunting cabin when a physical confrontation broke out, leading to one of them calling 911. State police alleged that 65-year-old Scot D. Thompson of Englewood, Florida shot both of his brothers with a rifle and left the area using one of their vehicles.
Kris Boyd, who played with the Cardinals in 2023 and is currently with the New York Jets, was shot early Nov 16 in Midtown Manhattan, police said.

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was wounded in a shooting in New York City early Sunday morning, according to multiple reports. According to the New York City Police Department, shots were fired around 2 a.m. along West 38th street. Responding officers found a 29-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound in the abdomen.
Police said during this incident, 65-year-old Scot D. Thompson of Englewood, Florida shot and killed both of his brothers with a rifle. Officials identified the victims as 70-year-old Mark B. Thompson of Canterbury and 69-year-old David E. Thompson of Port Charlotte, Florida.
