With the MLB Trade Deadline fast approaching, the Giants are sure to be aggressive, but they cannot trade away these three prospects.

This is one of the boldest trade ideas yet. Joe Shasky suggested that the Giants should make a trade for Pittsburgh Pirates star Oneil Cruz.

If the Marlins do trade Alcantara, Mike Axisa of CBS Sports predicts that the San Francisco Giants will trade for the pitcher. "The Marlins are going to move [Alcantara], that is a near certainty and not at all bold. It's Posey and the Giants swinging big and beating out teams with deeper farm systems to get it done," wrote the analyst.

The San Francisco Giants are emerging from the All-Star break with some clear playoff expectations after pulling off a surprising move well ahead of the trade deadline.
