Three players with Alabama football roots have been nominated for the NFL’s Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award for the 2025 season. Each NFL team nominated one player for the annual honor, and the league revealed the candidates on Wednesday.

Longtime host Curt Menefee, who’s been part of the show since 2006, said Detroit is one of his favorite cities to visit.

But since his retirement, Strahan has stayed busy, particularly with his television career. For the last 17 years, he has been an analyst on the pregame show “Fox NFL Sunday” and hosts the game show “$100,000 Pyramid.” But arguably his biggest role is as a co-host of “Good Morning America,” which he joined in 2014.
