Arguably the biggest gamechanger in the battle was the Utes’ 97-yard pick-six in the fourth. Up 17-14, defensive back Elijah Davis jumped the Kansas wideout’s route and intercepted quarterback Jalon Daniels. Going untouched, Davis’ score gave Utah a 24-14 lead with less than eight minutes left.

The Blue Streaks and Purple Raiders will play their first games in the NCAA Division III football tournament on Saturday, and both will play at home.
