The 70-year-old former wrestler Jake Roberts has undergone another surgery in the span of one year. The wrestling legend’s wife, Cheryl Roberts, recently updated a status on Facebook on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, notifying fans around the globe about the veteran’s successful hip surgery.

She had a hip replacement done for her fracture, although she had never had arthritis problems with her hip. So far, she is recovering well in a rehab hospital and beginning to walk with a walker. We were wondering why the fracture wasn’t fixed and why a hip replacement was necessary?
