To date, four Middle Tennessee school districts and one private school have announced closures ranging from one day to the rest of the week due to widespread illness. Dickson County Schools notified parents of district-wide school closures in a phone message Thursday.

Flu cases continue to soar across the Tennessee Valley. Lincoln County Schools is now the latest school district hit by the illness. Their schools will be closed Thursday and Friday
