Florida basketball will try to beat a No. 1 team for the second time this season when it plays Saturday at SEC leader Auburn

After a disheartening loss at No. 4 Tennessee, No. 6 Florida basketball will get another challenge within the conference when it hosts Vanderbilt on Tuesday night at the O'Connell Center (7 p.m., SEC Network).

Coming off a dominant victory over Oklahoma, Auburn basketball will host its second top 10 matchup this season against No. 6 Florida. The Tigers current 14-game winning streak has been anchored by back-to-back SEC player of the week Johni Broome, who’s averaging a double-double on the season.

When Florida is on, it is nearly impossible to beat. The Gators have 30-point wins over Tennessee and Georgia and a 24-point win over Texas, all at home. But Florida has also had some poor performances, including a home loss to Missouri, a 20-point road loss to Tennessee and a one-point win over South Carolina.
