The National Hurricane Center said Tropical Storm Bertha could form on Monday in the Gulf, and Alabama now finds itself under a tropical storm watch -- and now a storm surge watch.

Tropical Storm Bertha weakened slightly while you slept, but it's not yet done with Florida.

AccuWeather reports Bertha moving west-northwest at about 6 mph with maximum sustained winds near 50 mph and higher gusts.
