Freshman star AJ Dybantsa had a heroic performance for No. 6 seed BYU in its upset to No. 11 Texas in the first round of the Men's NCAA Tournament.

All eyes were on BYU Cougars superstar AJ Dybantsa in the first-round matchup against the Texas Longhorns on Thursday night. Texas was able to overcome his strong performance anyways. The Longhorns advanced to the next round and won by a final score of 79-71.

Dybantsa's potential top rival for the No. 1 pick, should he enter the draft, is Duke star forward Cameron Boozer. But Cameron, alongside twin brother Cayden, held off No. 16 Siena in their close first-round affair in which they overturned a 13-point deficit.
