Nearly 100,000 San Diegans could loose power during the next round of power shutoffs after the National Weather Service issued another Red Flag Warning for the region for Monday and Tuesday as Santa Ana winds return.

County firefighters who went to L.A. to fight the wildfires described the Palisades and Altadena blazes as a “wall of flames”

This weekend's cool temperatures and higher humidity are expected to give way to more Santa Anas and a new red flag warning Monday.

A new wildfire was reported today at 6:09 p.m. in San Diego County. Oak Fire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

Wind gusts have peaked for the most part here in San Diego County, but dry and breezy afternoon conditions will keep the Red Flag Warning in place for valleys and mountains until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

A new wildfire was reported today at 12:52 p.m. in San Diego County. Murphy Fire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no available information on the containment or cause of the fire.

A red flag warning was set to expire for San Diego County Wednesday as Santa Ana winds diminish, although dry conditions could still create concern for wildfires in the days to come, forecasters said.
