Four Berks teams will open play in the PIAA basketball tournament with home games in the first round. A total of eight Berks teams qualified for the playoffs, with the Berks Catholic boys winning the District 3 Class 4A title and the Wyomissing girls winning their third-straight Class 4A championship.
