The NHL season is on hiatus this week as the 4 Nations Face-Off gets underway in Montreal, but what is the tournament, and who is playing?

The 4 Nations Face-Off continued on Thursday evening as the United States romped over Finland in their first game of the round-robin tournament. Following a slow start, the Americans exploded with a four-goal third period en route to a dominant 6-1 win.

Brady and Matthew Tkachuk came out hitting, started scoring and put together a display of brotherly dominance playing together for the first time on a big stage.

Finland is making a change in net for its second game of the 4 Nations Face-Off. Coach Antti Pennanen said Kevin Lankinen will start against Sweden on Saturday after Juuse Saros allowed six goals on 32 shots in Finland's 6-1 loss to the United States in each team's first game of the tournament.

And people will keep doing it, too, because the intense rivalry between the two Nordic nations separated by one sea has been passed down by generations at the Olympics, the world championships and now at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Finland is benching goalie Juuse Saros after giving up six goals in Thursday's 4 Nations Face-Off loss to the U.S. Kevin Lankinen will start against Sweden on Saturday.
